I am primarily interested in the the taxonomy and systematics of the Scolytini, Xyleborini and Neotropical scolytines, especially the Corthylina. I am also interested in patterns of scolytine beta-diversity within Neotropical forests and  patterns of host-use evolution among the Scolytini.
