Alora is a Biological Tinkerer at the University of Florida Forest Entomology Lab. She is planning to pursue a Master’s Degree in Forest Resources and Conservation in Fall of 2024. Alora’s special interests include: genetics, sustainability, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Current Projects
Alora is currently designing a DNA sequencing pipeline to determine host tree species from dissected bark beetle guts.
