Researchers

Shalini Nannapaneni

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in Data Science with a minor in Computer Science. In the Forest Entomology Lab, I develop and curate datasets of ambrosia beetle images for applications of machine learning for species identification and ecological analysis.

My research interests include machine learning, with a focus on clustering algorithms, and leveraging data-driven methods to address questions in the natural sciences. I enjoy integrating my technical background with my interest in nature and ecology.
